A Universal Message

Sometimes when we stop and look at the world around us, we see that all we need to know is given to us through the messages of the universe.  One primary message is the natural process of life transformation that is seen through the change of seasons. 

SUMMER

It’s hot and the soil is dry.  Sometimes we forget to water the trees, the flowers just as we sometimes neglect our true selves.  We become thirsty.  We wilt. We yearn for nourishment.  It rains and we are refreshed.  Summer days are long on light reminding us that life in the light is abundance, in the dark, despair. The summer sun shines on us as we were made to shine in the world. 

FALL

Autumn spawns an understanding of life changes.  Vibrant Colors emerge in excitement for our new change, as if to say, here I am, see me, know that I am changing, know that I am preparing for new growth through shedding of my old life, my old patterns.  I am finding new colors, new facets of me.  Breathe in.  Feel the cleansing of the crisp cool air.  The cleansing of what was that now sees a new perspective.

WINTER

Now I will shed my old ways and prepare for new growth by becoming bare, exposing my skeleton, my core, my strength that is my foundation.  I can no longer hide behind my leaves, my adornment.  The core of who I am, my trunk, my branches, are there unchanged, supporting and patiently anticipating my new growth. I stay exposed, dormant, quiet, safe with a blanket of snow as my protection, pure, white, virgin, a clean slate that has been laid over me. 

SPRING 

Growth comes and I am very green, immature in my new life.  I need sun, nourishment and water to mature into fullness and abundance.  It takes practice, patience and understanding in your new life, your new ways, to mature into the full and abundant life you are growing into.  It doesn’t just appear.  It grows as you give it more nourishment through love, self-love.
